1. Empty Heart Blues - This is our trademark song written by Dave just when we were starting out. This was the first song written exclusively for the band - it’s a good opener for us. Recorded live at the HOB in late 2002. ©2001 by Dave Glynn 2. Standin’ in the Rain - Another fun one for us, kinda of a ‘Thrill is Gone’ feel, emphasis on the blues. Written pre-band, but fits in well with our styles. Recorded live at the HOB in late 2002. ©1998 by Dave Glynn
3. Tomorrow’s Comin’ - This is one of the most recently written songs - it’s about the early Stones and how mentally lost they were most of time, yet creative. A real 60’s tribute song that showcases the ECB’s talents. Recorded at ComfortZone studios. ©2003 by Dave Glynn 4. Every Day - This song was written by Steve Pierson out of California. Paul saw him perform at Blues First in Memphis and really liked the song. We’ve adopted it as our own. Thanks Steve! ©2000 by Steve Pierson
5. Out All Night Blues - We all get into trouble and Johnny Mack gets into it as much as the rest of us. He wrote this song after being out too many nights - right MJ? Recorded at ComfortZone. ©2003 by John Mackniskas 6. Yes You Do - Gospel song written by Dave during a positive moment. Nice treatment by the ECB - especially like JMack’s organ overdub. Recorded live at the HOB in late 2002. ©1998 by Dave Glynn
7. The Wrong Way - Speaking of trouble, Dave always got blamed for everyone else’s shannigans. Anyhow written back in Dave’s solo days - a good ECB rendition. ©1987 by Dave Glynn 8. Jimmy & Jerry Lee - Great song written about Jimmy Swaggert and Jerry Lee Lewis by Michael Jerling, a very gifted songwriter. Recorded live at the HOB in late 2002. ©1985 by Michael Jerling, Fool’s Hill Music, ASCAP
9. Hambone’s Blues Party Intro - Wonderful Blues DJ Hambone was gracious enough to have us on his show. He introduces the band and we have a great time. ©2002 by Scott Hammer 10. Just a Little Roadhouse - Another Michael Jerling song about a place where the ECB would play regularly. We especially like the “You make a weekday dance like a Saturday night” line. Recorded live on Hambone’s Blues Party on WDCB in Dec. 2002. ©1985 by Michael Jerling, Fool’s Hill Music, ASCAP
11. More from Hambone - Brief history of the band coaxed out of the Mad Doctor Dave by Hambone. The tire pressure of the Cadillac went up during this jabber. ©2002 by Scott Hammer 12. Happy Too - Dave wrote this song as a quirky Bo Diddly love song. It’s nice and spontaneous recorded live on Hambone’s show. ©1998 by Dave Glynn
13. Across the River - This was the first song Dave wrote after burning out with the Dave Glynn Band. Richie does some nice haunting harp work on this one. Recorded at ComfortZone. ©1998 by Dave Glynn 14. Secret Mission - A song about a lying-cheating individual like most politicians. Recorded in 2001 in Paul Lee Studios. ©1998 by Dave Glynn
